This is an inside view of a local bus. I dreaded these buses for most of my trip as they have no shock absorbers and the roads were less than smooth. Also at the beginning I was afraid of the germs I would pick up from the people, as many rather poor people road the buses. This went away with time and I got to enjoy the buses as you are above the strongest part of the motor pollution, you could see out better than other modes of transport and I liked watching the people. The fear of germs, however was not an unreasonable, and eventually got me, probably because I neglected to wash my hands when returning home. Shoot!
