Well they aren't all this bad, but I had to include this because my physical downfall was the government buses, not the water. (I did my best to not give the water a chance on me.) The Indian bus system has much to say for itself. You can get anywhere in India on a bus. Most routes are pretty direct and they start and arrive pretty much on time. Full ones will leave early. On a lighter side - There was this time when Viru was getting tickets for a trip and trying to get us on a luxury bus. The conductor kind of grimaced and said that where we were going to they had "semi-luxury" busses. I felt compassion for him in having to describe a bus that wasn't much better than this as semi-luxury. |
